My wife was rushed into hospital. She was in agony and phoned the GP, who was not seeing patients, so I had to ring for an ambulance, which I find disgusting to start with. She got to casualty and hours later was seen by a doctor.
They then took her to ward twelve where she was tested for covid and found to be negative. Then she was taken to ward 32, where was put on a bay for 4, with six beds in. She was tested again a couple of days later and found to be positive, and taken to a side ward.
I think it is time the staff started looking at the patients notes on the computer, because one doctor comes in and tells her everything is fine and she could go home, only for the nurse to advise what was wrong with her, My wife suffers from ME, but the doctor told her that she didn't and can't find it on her notes. That seems very funny as she has been treated for it for over a decade.
Last year I was taken to Pinderfields with meningitis, and she was with me due to the extensive medical illnesses I suffer from, and being unable to communicate at the time. From that day on she felt ill, and it turned out to be long covid. They called it glass lung, but once again the doctor didn't know, and told her it goes away after a few months, so she should be clear. I think that is a load of rubbish they as don't know how long it takes to go, if ever. She was made to feel like a fraud, which, I can guarantee you she is not. She has to be dying to go to the doctors, and as for going in hospital she has to have no choice. Her treatment has been disgusting.
She is know in the geriatric ward with dementia patents. 3 wards in one week. It's time the doctors looked at what the person suffers from, because it seems you see a different one every day. They try to empty the bed if your suffering or not. A big, big difference from when I was in a year ago, things are going down hill fast.
