"Amazing staff"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / GP Out-of-Hours Emergency Service NHS 24

(as a service user),

I had to phone NHS 24 as I became unwell on a Sunday and I am immunosuppressed. Lauren the call handler & the nurse had excellent listening skills, dealt with me with professionally and were empathetic. They booked an appointment for me at out of hours at Stobhill Hospital. When I arrived all staff were kind and professional. The ANP Wilma who dealt with me was amazing. She put me at ease.  With excellent listening skills, excellent questioning , she quickly and efficiently diagnosed my problem. She was kind and empathetic. The NHS is a better place for the amazing staff I have mentioned above. Thank you

Thanks specifically for mentioning the staff who managed your call to NHS 24. I'm pleased you felt listened to and that Lauren and the Nurse were professional and empathetic. Wilma from Stobhill sounds like an absolute star too, so well done to her for putting you at ease.

Stories such as yours are great for our staff to see. It's especially good if we can share such feedback with staff directly. Here at NHS 24 we don't have the benefit of seeing our patients face to face, so hearing back from patients on how they feel their care was managed, really means so much to us.
