"It was wonderful to meet such kindness"

About: Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted for an Inguinal Hernia Repair operation. The staff were so warm, welcoming, pleasant, professional, expert, sympathetic, reassuring and aware how nervous I was; fully explained what was to happen. I was tested for Covid and given a morphine injection. They could not have been nicer or more respectful. Groucho Marx said that “a minor operation is something others have”! It was wonderful to meet such kindness.

Dear Sliema,

Really nice to read that you were well supported and cared for when you had your hernia operation carried out several months ago. I hope your recovery has gone well. Thank you for sharing your experience,

Regards Arlene
