Long term investigation and care for raised PSA . Regular tests with variable results, TRUS negative. However my consultant, Mr Misra , maintained a watchful eye with regular consultation and measured PSA tests. Contacts were maintained with my doctor and new medication was introduced to my treatment daily to assist my condition.
A sudden rise in PSA level occurred and a new drug introduced at the same time to improve flow corrected this ,and PSA has remained at an acceptable level.
Mr Misra has now referred me back to my doctors care.
However he picked up in my other tests relating to frequency and burning. The results were negative, most of the time. prompting Mr Misra to offer me a flexible cystoscopy, to check the bladder . I shall book an appointment.
From the foregoing it will be noted the standard of care, and professional skill ,together with the continuous active personal touch, has been a true confidence builder
