"I felt safe and in good hands"

About: Victoria Hospital / Colorectal Unit

(as the patient),

Had appointment for colonoscopy following sigmoidoscopy, I was extremely anxious about procedure, but I was soon to be at ease by S/N Jean and staff nurse Hazel, not forgetting consultant Mr Evgenikos. 

During my procedure Jean talked me through each stage of procedure, constantly reassuring me, which for me was like having my mum sat with me which made me feel safe and in good hands. 

Consultant was very kind and made me feel at ease. 

I would like to thank you all for helping make my time in the unit that bit easier. 

I hope this little thankyou boosts moral for you all..
