"I still have not been given my results"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Cardiology Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Respiratory medicine Pilgrim Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I recently had an operation on my heart and they also found a problem in my lungs so took some biopsies. This was 3 months ago. They had one specialist meeting and wanted me to have a CT scan to confirm a diagnosis. I have recently been in Pilgrim for 10 days with some complications. During my treatment 2 CT scans were done and registered straight away but my scans from earlier still haven't been registered. I still haven't been discussed at the meeting so still have not been given my results which could potentially be quite serious. Thank goodness Pilgrim have registered the up to date ones.

We're sorry that you have encountered issues with your CT scans and would suggest that you approach Nottingham University Hospitals to check up on the earlier results. If you are unsure who to approach, contact their PALS team

It is good to note that Pilgrim Hospital have registered to two scans you had whilst staying with us.

We hope you get your concerns answered very soon.
