"How inclusion made me understand me"

About: Inclusion Recovery College Thurrock Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

When i was first sent to inclusion i was suffering with long term Depression, Anxiety, & PTSD.

I first started with CBT which i did not like at all .I found myself saying just what the therapist wanted to hear.

So understandably was a bit cynical about going to inclusion. When i came there i was broken they made me understand what was happening in my life and how to use what i learnt to help me .I did a few courses and loved every minute of them Titi, Renee & Dave where great they helped me so much with understanding everything great great experience .

Dear Doorjam,

Thanks so much for taking the time to post this message! It is always great to hear from a student of the Recovery College and we really appreciate any feedback on experiences.

We are all unique and at different times in our lives, different things can help. It is about continuing to try and say open-hearted and open-minded to opportunities to support our personal development, healing and growth. I shall pass on your positive comments to Titi & Dave.

Were there any particular courses that you would recommend to others? It helps us when designing each term's timetable to know which owns have made a real impact.

We are now based in Tilbury Library & Hub on a Friday to support the library to stay open as a resource for local residents & communities. Feel free to pop in, get a cuppa and find out more about what we and our partners are all up to. There are so many exciting opportunities to continue our journeys and learn ways to thrive.

It would be good to hear from you again.

Take care,

Hi

It was lovely to hear back from you all

I found the courses like Understanding Depression, Mindfulness, Anxiety & Me, also being part of the inclusion group is so helpful meeting up with other people and listing why others may feel tbe same as you can be very helpful.

Thank you for everything.

Tracey
