"Maternity unit night shifts"

About: Newham General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

This is second time the night shift staff have let us  down. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant and she was experiencing reduced baby movement when we called they said we should come as soon as possible..

When we came at maternity unit 4 they make us wait for 2 hour and then without even checking they send us zone 2 upstairs Birth centre and after waiting another hour at zone 2 they sent us back to zone 4 and then they make us another 4 hour wait for nothing.

Last time my wife nearly gave birth in the car. Very disappointed from the hospital night staff.
