I didn't realise adults could have adhd. I thought it was somthing you would have as a kid in primary school that went away as you got older. I didn't realise I could have more trouble doing things than other people I just assumed I was lazy and no good at anything.
I met someone who told me they had an adult diagnosis and when I looked into it I made some connections with my own life.
It was causing me issues with work and relationships I decided to seek help more for my own curiosity than anything else.
I have had several chats with Dr Gillott and have since been diagnosed.
Its nice to know more about who I am. Everyone has been very helpful during what I understand has been a very hard time for everyone. Now we are moving into the next stage where we see what can be done.
Everything has been good.
