"Efficient, helpful and kind"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Blossom Ward (Paediatrics)

(as a relative),

Our granddaughter dropped a heavy brick on her right foot, bruising 3 toes. It was very painful for her, and we feared that there may have been at least one broken bone. With some trepidation, we took her to Craigavon Area Hospital, but instead, we were very impressed with the care and attention our granddaughter received. Every member of staff we came in contact with was efficient, helpful and kind to her/us; she was thoroughly examined by several members of staff, each of whom knew how to work with a distressed child who was in pain, helping to put her at ease. We had expected to be at the hospital for most of the evening however from arrival to leaving was around 75 minutes which we thought was very impressive! We are very grateful to Blossom/CAH for their care and attention.

I'm so sorry to hear about your granddaughter's accident. I'm sure that it must have been very frightening for her and all of your family. I am so pleased, however, to hear how well the experience went for her and I'm glad things worked out well for her and that our staff were able to help. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this lovely feedback.

I wish you and your granddaughter all the best, David
