"Our daughter with meningitis"

About: Royal Jubilee Maternity services / Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

(as a relative),

We have been given world class care by a team of health care workers who ultimately saved our daughter’s life.

From the first moment we arrived the nurses, doctors and consultants were compassionate and caring and would go out of their way to help and ask any questions. When things got tough they worked quickly, starting antibiotics and performing a lumbar puncture ensuring they were doing all that they could. I have worked in the nhs In many trusts in England and I have never seen such kindness and professionalism. Thank you so much.
