I'm not sure if it was because it's an NHS referral or if this is just how they operate, but my experience with them was:
Waited from the 4th Jan for my first appointment on the Friday 28th January, late afternoon, which would have been absolutely fine had they actually called me.
As they're closed over the weekend, I called on Monday to find out they had rebooked me in for Monday 31st January (without speaking to me at all to arrange this) but as I was allegedly ill, they'd rebooked me for Friday 4th February. Considering I hadn't spoken to anyone, I was becoming a bit confused as to how they had decided I could A - accept an appointment for the following Monday and B - assumed I was too ill to take that call on Monday when they're closed over the weekend.
Then I was also informed on this same phone call that actually, they wouldn't be able to do the 4th Feb, so they rearranged for Monday 7th Feb. I genuinely still felt calm even though it'd been a full month since booking the consultation.
Friday 4th Feb, I get a phone call from the receptionist to say they wouldn't be able to do Monday, so could they arrange for Wednesday 9th Feb. I made her aware this was the third cancellation and forth appointment made. She apologised and promised this would be the last time.
Wednesday 9th Feb comes along and you can bet, I never got call. They tried to brush me off to bookings department as nothing was showing up on the system. The reason why it hadn't shown up on their system was because they hadn't rebooked me into the system.. so I had to restart my referral process all over again.
Wouldn't trust them if this how they treat people, regardless of whether it's with NHS referral or private. Inexcusable behaviour
