"They got me on my feet"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Older people's services Older People Community Services / Cregagh Nursing Home Royal Victoria Hospital / General Surgery

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was going to the clinic, umbrella blew me into a fence in November 2021- operated in RVH. Moved me to Musgrave and they got me on my feet; every day they took me to gym, I went up/down stairs. I could stand and walk again. Then advised that I was being moved to here (Cregagh Care home).

I was disappointed that I was not in Musgrave until my care package was ready.

Hi my name is Sinead I am the Service Manager for Meadowlands Rehabilitation Unit. Thank you for leaving your feedback it is really valuable for us as a Team to receive input from yourself which I will share with the wider team.

Unfortunately the demand on the service is such that we cannot facilitate patients to remain on our wards to await their POC. We try to communication this to patients, families and carers. I hope that you received the reassurance and support from staff, from both Musgrave Park Site and Cregagh Care Home.

I hope you are recovering well and continue to improve and wish you the very best going forward.

Sinead

Service Manager
