"Social Prescriber deserves a gold medal"

My auntie had a fallout with her eldest son and hurtful words were exchanged resulting in the relationship being irretrievably broken down.

He had done everything for her; shopping, ordering medication, arranging appointments, taking to appointments, reviewing and paying household bills, setting up contracts,banking and finance control.

This left her bereft, isolated and in a situation where she knew nothing about anything regarding her appointments, medication, finances, shopping,

Lynn, the Social Prescriber - I can only describe as an angel - helped her to regain control and independence. She sorted out everything that was needed and gave her confidence and hope.

She provided a detailed letter of what she had done and contacts and numbers in easy to understand format. It was absolutely fantastic and so helpful. Lynn deserves a gold medal in recognition for the work she does.
