"My surgery experience"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Skin Team

(as the patient),

I was feeling apprehensive about undergoing surgery. But i was was put at ease when David introduced himself at reception and escorted me to surgery room where I was introduced to Maureen.

The procedure was explained to me in detail so I knew what to expect, aftercare was also explained. A good sense of humour in the room helped relax me even more. The banter between David and Maureen was very funny and I was included in conversation during the procedure. All went well, don't change a thing.

My thanks to all at FVRH for looking after me.

Dear JustJohn,

Thank you for taking the time to let Maureen and I know how your visit went. It is brilliant news we were able to relax you during the procedure, a wee blether helps keep your mind off the unpleasant business at hand.

Hopefully everything continued to go to plan afterwards and you are well on the way to healing now.

Thanks again

David
