(as a relative),

My mother was admitted to Opal House for discharge assessment after spending time on AMU and one of the wards. She was very ill and it quickly became apparent that she was in fact at the end of her life. Every single member of staff was attentive and caring, not only towards mum, but also to the family. I cannot speak highly enough of the consideration shown to mum, who slipped away peacefully yesterday evening, and to us, her family.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS website regarding the care your mother received at Opal House. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is always good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you thought every staff member was attentive and caring not only to your mum but to all family also. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Head of Nursing/Lead Nurse/Matron who will share your comments the staff involved.
