At around 4 months post partum I developed postnatal depression and was referred to the perinatal mental health team. I was allocated a psychiatrist Dr Kelly. My story isn't really a story but more of a thank you. The postnatal mental health team services have been absolutely fantastic. In any other department of nuh I have never felt so cared for and listened to. The referral was incredibly quick, every single member of staff I ever dealt with was fantastic and most of all dr Kelly was wonderful, she was down to earth, relatable and kind.

Dear Mummymoo

What a lovely thank you! It was great to read about the care you received and that the team and Dr Kelly gave you just what you needed when you were going through a difficult time.

I'm sorry it's taken a long time to reply but I will make sure the team see your feedback. I know they will really appreciate it.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, it means a lot to us.

Jane
