What I liked
Having had to have surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy over a two year period, I got to know the hospital and staff well!
I could not fault anyone in the Oncology and associated Departments. The specialists/surgeons spoke to you in lay-mans terms and were very approachable.
Food was excellent too!
What could be improved
More information in advance of having a central (Hickman) line inserted would have saved me upset. I had no idea it would be done in the theatre and that I would be away from work for a whole day. Stronger painkillers to take home would have been appropriate too.
Bit more communicaton between departments would be useful.
Less waiting time in the Oncology Clinic would be wonderful - everyone seems to get the same appointment time and then waits and waits.
