Feeling unwell for a while and not getting better, I filled in an E consult and my GP rang me the next day. I went for a blood test , rang and the receptionist and she went away and asked the GP when I questioned what part of the blood test result meant, she was so friendly and helpful. I was diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica after he called me back to explain the results. He took his time and went through a lot of questions and was very friendly and reassuring. I am now on medication and within days have felt a lot better. He has booked me in for follow up and further tests.

I found it very convenient to be able to think about and describe my symptoms online with E consult, noting every area of pain, it took a while but was worth it.

The service I have received has been above and beyond my expectations, a bit different, yes, but with my own experiences, not face to face, has not been detrimental to the results.
