"Hewitt centre review "

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital

At under "care" of Hewitt centre since January 2020. This is the worst experience I have ever had with consultants. There are two top consultants that I usually interact with and they are rude. The way you are dismissed like if you are waisting their time is unacceptable. Especially after you wait 2 hours for your appointment. This clinic would benefit by hiring a leading woman consultant. Someone that take seriously woman's pain. I am waiting for a surgery since June 2021, the consultants have little availability for nhs patients. They work for nhs patients once a week as told by the secretary. Lack of communication among staff means I have to explain my case every time with no tangible progress. I had to call so many times to get the care I need overall you don't get the impression those consultants care about their patients. Yesterday the consultant rudely ask me why I came to the appointment and yet he failed to provide any news regarding my surgery or he didn't consider that I had some questions regarding the new added medication. Overall I don't think the consultants help the patient to understand what are the next steps of their care and they don't empower the patients with enough information to take decisions on their own care. Worst clinic ever. Impossibile to reach anyone by phone from the admission department.
