"Excellent care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a relative),

From start of the process right through to currently, care has been amazing. Professional, caring , dignified, compassionate to my mum who has Alzheimer’s as well as to myself and other family members. From the 2 paramedics Paul and Carla to the A&E staff who were timely and informative. And now I’m the ward where she is receiving very good level of care. From all staff members. Thank you

Dear Jwat

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read that your mother has required to use our services and that of the wider NHS, I do hope that she is feeling better? This must be a very worrying time for you.

I am really pleased however to read the lovely comments about our staff that looked after your mother and I would be happy to pass these onto the crew and their manager. In order to do this I would just need some more details. If you would like for this to happen can I ask you to email the date, time and location that the ambulance attended your mother and her name. This can be sent to sas.feedback@nhs.scot. I would also be very grateful if you could make reference to your CareOpinion username so that the team can easily link your email to this story.

Thanks again and I wish you all the very best.

Kind Regards

Alan

Dear Jwat

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of visiting your mum in the A&E & Orthopaedics Departments of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It was very touching to hear how all the staff have showed compassion, empathy and understanding throughout your mothers on going care for Alzheimer’s.

I can only begin to imagine how worried you and all your family must be on a daily basis so to hear the care she is receiving is of a high standard is very comforting.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved who I'm sure will be as touched as I was to read your comments.

Please take care and stay safe

Kind regards

Kevin
