"Compassionate treatment and care for breast cancer"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Breast Surgery Belfast City Hospital / Oncology

(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2021. This was a terrifying diagnosis and a big shock to me.

The treatment and care I received from the staff in the Breast Cancer Clinic in the Ulster Independent Clinic and the Breast Care Centre in the Belfast City Hospital and the Radiotherapy Department and the Physiotherapy Department in the Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre has been second to none.

They have all been extremely kind, compassionate, attentive and supportive. I would like to thank them all for seeing me through my treatment and making this a less frightening experience!
