"The STARS team"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Community Services / STARS (Short Term Assessment Reablement Service)

(as the patient),

I fell in September and had a brace fitted on my arm.To begin with stars helped me with meals and personal hygiene. Six months later I still need help with personal hygiene as I am still ina brace and cannot use my right arm.

Stars were very professional and courteous and made me feel at ease when helping me wash and dress. Without them I would have been lost. I have now been transferred to a different care section, but with be forever grateful for the help that stars provided.
