"Worth her weight in gold."

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Critical Care

(as the patient),

I was admitted to hospital a few weeks ago for the weekend with my asthma. The care I received was amazing from HDU and especially from Kirsten in ward 7C.  She is one of the most compassionate, empathetic and dedicated nurses I have met. Nothing was too much hassle for her and she takes the time to chat to all her patients. She’s defo worth her weight in gold.

Dear Nicole_142009,

Thank you for sharing such kind feedback about Kirsten and the HDU staff at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It’s great to hear the team made you feel reassured during a presumably challenging experience. Staff’s commitment to making time for conversation and helping patients feel comfortable proves their dedication and compassion.

I will be happy to pass on your feedback to the staff, including Kirsten, who I'm sure will be grateful to hear your lovely words.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards,

Euan
