After receiving a text from a dr to ask me to book an appointment to discuss test results I was told you can no longer make appointments, I must phone every day. When I mentioned I booked one a few weeks ago the receptionist just said “that was then” how can COVID be blamed for not being able to book an appointment in a few days. Really poor service and rude receptionist

Dear patient, thank you for your feedback, I am sorry for your recent experience and miscommunication. Currently we are only offering on the day appointments and have stopped pre-booking appointments in advance since the week before Christmas, due to the significant rise in covid cases our priority is to deal with the appointments on the day, the communication you received asking you to book a follow up appt was wrong and should have been dealt with differently. I will feed back your concerns to the team, kind regards Mrs A Ryder, Operational Development Manager
