"Top quality care from brilliant staff"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Colorectal surgery & stoma care North Devon District Hospital / Intensive & Critical Care Unit

(as a service user),

I had a bowel operation at North Devon Hospital and after three days in ICU, transferred to Lundy, where I stayed for nine days.

The care I received was absolutely fantastic.  Highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, sometimes overworked but always very positive.

The great thing for me was that the staff were so engaged.  I remember loads of interesting conversations and lots of fun and laughter.

The nurses, physios, doctors, dieticians and support staff were all great.

I can’t recommend the hospital and Lundy ward highly enough.
