"Top marks to the Endoscopy Department"

About: Horton General Hospital

I had to have a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy recently,and unfortunately the results weren't clear enough, so an appointment was made for exactly a week later, for a full Colonoscopy to be done.

On both occasions, every single member of staff,- from the receptionist, to trainee nurses, all the various other nurses, sisters, doctors involved,- and not forgetting the actual Endoscopist who actually performed the procedure,-- could not be more polite and efficient, and kept informing me of every detail as I progressed through the entire procedure. And on my discharge, a fully detailed report of what they had found and what had actually been done, was given to me.

Thank you all, for making me at ease, and for all your care and professionalism, on the day,-- and just to add, that I'm sure that I couldn't have had better treatment any where else, and it goes to show that we really do value, and need the Horton Hospital, and the quality of staff who work there.
