My daughter became Very poorly with her chronic illness and was transferred to Glasgow’s Childrens hospital after spending a few nights in another hospital. Unfortunately not long after we arrived, we found out she tested positive for Covid and was immediately moved to ward 2C for isolation. The nurses were fantastic that night and reassured us everything would be ok. The next day the consultant came to see us and explained to my daughter she had nothing to worry about and told her how we would treat her illness, he was fantastic with her. She spent 4 nights in hospital with the most amazing care, the nurses both day and night were so kind to her, and we were both very well looked after. The play assistants on the ward were great as keeping her entertained and busy, and the cleaning staff kept our room spotless. I cannot thank everyone enough for the help and kindness they showed us and we appreciate every single person who helped us along our journey. Thank you ward 2C!
