About: Oakhaven Hospice

(as a service user),

I attend Oakhaven Day Hospice fortnightly and have been doing so for 2 months now. I was very apprehensive to start with but was made to feel very welcome. They are very friendly, I have a therapy session whilst there and enjoy it - this has included reiki and hand/foot massages. I look forward to my delicious lunch and sometimes beer/wine.

My wife has a few hours to herself which is really good. Transport is provided by a very nice volunteer.

All in all it is  a wonderful service.

Thank you for your feedback. It is lovely to hear you enjoy Day Hospice and the therapy sessions. We imagine people can feel apprehensive before attending and we are so glad you felt welcomed and really enjoy coming.
