"Really inspired me"

About: CGL Birmingham

(as a service user),

I had a great expereince with CGL Day Programme  My key worke, Lisa, was amazing and a real support. Her experiences have really inspired me to move forward and her support has been second to none! She is an amazing lady who has allowed me to become a better person who is now sober after many attempts, and the mother I have always wanted to be!

It's so lovely to read the kind words that you have shared about your experience of accessing our Day Programme.

The feedback you've shared about Lisa in particular, is amazing to hear. It sounds like she has done an absolutely fantastic job of providing the support you needed to get into recovery. I will make sure Lisa gets to read the words you have shared and that her line manager is informed too. I'm sure they will both be over the moon when they learn about your feedback and the impact her support has had on your recovery.

I understand that getting into recovery is an incredibly difficult challenge and I can only begin to imagine how much hard work and effort you have had to put in, in order to get yourself to where you are at today! I hope you feel extremely proud of what you have achieved because you really should.
