All staff from receptionists, nurses, ambulance crew & consultants were first class especially considering the current work load during the pandemic. The emergency care I received was second to none and I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone that helped that day/evening.
My visit to BMT A&E Majors Bed 1 ended in the early hours of Tuesday when I was transported to Poole Majors for further assessment. Prior to this I hope I put a few smiles on peoples faces with my light hearted banter. One female doctor in particular (sorry I can’t remember your name due to the Oramorph :-) was very caring, professional and looked after me well so thank you whoever you are x
To my relief I left Poole Hospital on Tuesday evening after a total of 7 x-rays, 1 CT Scan and an MRI that finally helped diagnose C6 & C7 vertebrae fractures. Thankfully I walked out with just a neck brace after Southampton confirmed surgery was not necessary :-)
To all Bmth / Poole / Southampton NHS staff, thank you for all your hard work and care you gave me in these very difficult times.
