"Well looked after in A & E"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I had to attend A&E in Royal Victoria Hospital in early January

Despite long waiting hours and short staffing I was looked after really well. 

I want to say thanks to all nursing and medical staff who looked after me especially Doctor Amy. 

Amy looked after me very well whilst maintaining my dignity. 

Amy listened to my concerns/worries and provided a person centred approach. 

The level of care despite circumstances was very good.

As the COVID pandemic continues to impact our health service it has been a very challenging time for our staff.
