(as the patient),

I was first diagnosoed with prostate cancer in 2008 and was treated with radiotherapy, cryotherapy and hormones which contained the disease.

In february 2019 my PSA started to rise and I underwent a series of tests and scans which indicated a growth in my bladder. This was removed and chemotherapy has been started.

All consultations and treatment except radiotherapy have been at Barnstable .

I cannot express my praise for the superb way that what could have been a most stressful episode in my life has been carried out.

Everybody concerned without exception showed care, competence and cheerfulness.

All treatments were fully explained in a kindly and clear way.

I must sinecerely thank all who were involved.

I have worked in the NHS for over 35 years as a senior Medical Secretary in various specialties. I currently work in the Urology Department providing PA services to the clinical team.

Thank you so much for leaving such positive feedback. I am sorry to read that you have had a diagnosis of prostate cancer and more recently of bladder cancer. It is always lovely when patients take the time and trouble to leave such positive feedback, especially in these challenging times. I am also pleased that all your treatment and investigations were explained to you in a clear manner and you found all our staff showed care, competence and cheerfulness whilst delivering your treatment.
