About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Gynaecology

I required the support and services from the FVRH colposcopy team for several years. They supported me through colposcopy appointments, LLETZ procedures and multiple smear appointments. While the smear is seen as a routine procedure for me it is anxiety provoking and painful.

Fiona and her team were kind, approachable and made the experience more tolerable. I have recently moved health boards and the new experience has been difficult and quite frankly, upsetting. This has highlighted what a wonderful job the team in Forth Valley do and I find it difficult to accept that I can no longer go to the team I trust and received such excellent care from. 

As a nurse myself I wanted to highlight what a fantastic job Fiona and her team are doing, I have never found myself so upset at the thought of not being able to go back to a certain care provider, which is a testament to this team. Thank you for the support you have given me over the past 5 years, I am forever grateful.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback regarding Fiona and her team.

Attending for the procedures you have mentioned is not easy so it is heartening to hear that what was an extremely anxious time for you was made bearable by the kindness and care from the team.

I am sorry to hear that your recent experiences in a new health board have caused such upset. I hope, going forward, this will change and you will gain confidence in your new team.

I will ensure everyone gets a copy of your feedback; I know they will be over the moon to read it!
