"Understanding and articulate facilitators"

About: Community Forensic Services / Community forensic team

(as a service user),

I have recently completed MBTi sessions with Notts MBT Service. I found that the sessions helped me to understand the brain to some form of degree. How to regulate emotions in order to understand my situation and others. How to mentalize with people for a greater outcome, to be calm in my interactions, have been helpful.

I think the sessions could do with being longer as I want to learn/have space for discussions. Longer sessions will allow for more time for people to generate ideas/questions.

I think adding some mindfulness may be helpful too to help calm emotions if needed.

I found the facilitators were approachable, very understanding and articulate, they were great. I think it helped that I knew one of the facilitators.

Thank you for posting this feedback, I am pleased to hear that you seemed to have gained some helpful understanding in attending the MBTi group. It can be reassuring to know at least one of the facilitators and I am pleased they were able to offer you a positive experience of being in the group. Your feedback is appreciated and your thoughts on what may improve the MBTi programme will be shared with the team and considered in our current review of the MBTi programme.

Best wishes,

Clare Lloyd
