So well looked after

"So well looked after"

(as a parent/guardian),

I cannot put into words how amazing the staff were on ward 20 in Wishaw General Hospital after a recent visit with my daughter. She has a newly diagnosed chronic condition and was admitted due to sickness, and she was so well looked after. Everyone was amazing but especially Gloria, i think she was a ward manager or nursing manager. She was brilliant. She put my daughter at ease, she treated her with respect, she was so kind and compassionate and just incredible at her job. She’s just one of those people you wish you met more of in your life, she genuinely cared for each patient and parent. Thank you Gloria, you are an awesome nurse!

Dear Mmirishgirl2,

What a lovely story to read this morning - thank you so much! It's always great to for staff to get recognition for the hard work that they do, but all the more better when it comes directly from patients and their families.

I'll be sure to share your story with the Clinical Director, Senior Charge nurses, the management here at Children's services and of course Gloria - who I'm sure will be delighted that you took the time to let her know the impact she had on your daughter.
