"Kindness and care throughout"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Elderly medicine

(as a service user),

My Father in Law was admitted to hospital before Christmas - diagnosed with metastatic cancer. Got home but collapsed within a few days and died after a few days in hospital.

Impressed with the kindness and care throughout the experience. He died quickly and peacefully.

Dear famfq83

It is so very thoughtful of you to get in touch to leave such lovely feedback about your late father in laws care, may I take this time to offer my sincere condolences on your sad loss.

We are so very lucky in NHS Forth Valley to have staff who work hard to provide person centred care, it really is heartening to read that during your father-in-laws time in hospital, he was treated with kindness and care throughout. This must have been such a comfort to you all at such a sad time.

I will ensure your lovely comments are shared across NHS Forth Valley.

My very best wishes to you and your family.

Pauline
