I took my adult son to the urgent care department after visiting him and discovering he had sustained a head and hand injury playing football the previous evening .
He was reassured by a nice lady on reception that his visit was necessary. He was seen promptly and also X rayed .He received excellent advice on what to look out for the concussion and treatment and follow up for his fractured finger.
Covid restrictions were followed and he was there less than 2 hours.
It was such a relief to receive such rapid professional care at a time when services are under great pressure and scrutiny.
