"Parking"

I went to the practice to pick some things up for my wife ,as I was on my way back from town I was in the car as I usually walk,on arrival the car park was full ,just as I pulled in a family had parked up and were going up the steps into the village so obviously not using the surgery,there were also cars that I know parked up by locals using it as their own parking place, there were also 2 cars parked on the area where it says not to, I believe this is where ambulances pull in and turn round.I was in no rush as it wasn't an appointment just a pick up so I waited for a spot. Have you thought of putting things in place to stop this happening? You could maybe put a barrier in like the one at Airedale hospital but where patients hand their token in to be allowed back out and those using it for parking can pay a fee before leaving then at least the revenue can go back into the practice. The car park was full top end and bottom but there weren't many patients in the surgery so majority must have been visitors not using the surgery.
