"Unable to get an appointment"

My daughter was given a telephone appointment with a rheumatologist last year to discuss her many issues including severe acid reflux. The phone call never came and she was told there wouldn’t be a further appointment due to the current Covid situation.

She is only in her 20's and stomach pain has become her normal since she was a small child. She has seen many doctors and consultants over the years and each time told she has acid reflux. However she has many other symptoms including POTS. She has seen a physio who specialises in EDs who referred her for an appointment with a rheumatologist. Recently she was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer and her condition is worsening. I am currently trying to find a rheumatologist who can help us privately even though affording this will be a struggle.
