"Counselling for depression"

About: Inclusion Thurrock (Talking Therapies)

(as a service user),

As a domestic abuse victim, life became so lonely and difficult to cope with. I felt lost and was drowning in sadness

My therapist was kind, patient and non judgemental. For once i felt listened to and found the courage to try to be me again.

Dear UC Hope,

Thank you for your feedback on our service.

I'm sorry to read you were the victim of domestic abuse.

As you described it must be very lonely, difficult to cope with, feeling lost and very sad as well, but you were brave when deciding to reach for support.

I'm glad to know you found your therapist had patience and was non-judgemental, and that you felt listened to, so you were able to find the courage to try to be yourself again!

Well done UC Hope, I'm sure it was not easy, you should be so proud of yourself as you put on the hard work.

All the best in your journey!

J. Isabel Saunders
