My husband attended Barnstaple Leisure Centre for his booster yesterday, same place he had his other two doses. The staff were friendly and it was very efficient. However, unlike the first two injections which he barely felt this one was very painful. The main thing that I think made the difference was that this time he was made to stand. He is 6 foot and the nurse was much shorter than him so would have had to stretch to reach his arm which will have changed her technique. Maybe in future people should be given the choice if they want to stand or not to improve patient experience
