"I was moved about a lot"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Most days here everything is fine. It has all been okay since I came to this ward. Beforehand I was moved about the hospital a lot; from room to room. At one stage I didn’t get the room I was told I would as it wasn’t clean unfortunately. I am now in a bay but would prefer my own room again. Hopefully I will be going home soon anyways but I am feeling much better since I have been in hospital. I had some bad experiences on some of the other wards but I feel better now I am here on 4 North surgical.

I sincerely apologise for the number of times you have been moved. Unfortunately due to the needs of the service, moving patients is unavoidable & it is unsettling for the patient.
