(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I am currently on the Female Medical ward in Daisy Hill where I have received nothing but the best care. The staff tend to all my needs while also being there for me emotionally when I miss my family and friends. It is clear to see that the staff are under great pressure but they are so careful to ensure everyone is treated as they should be. the virtual visiting team have been so helpful and bring great happiness to my day everyday. They set up multiple calls for me with my family while I have been in hospital and I am not sure what I would have done without them as I am not great with technology.

Good afternoon

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the new Virtual Visiting Service in Southern Health and Social Services Trust. We recognise how difficult it is for patients and families at the minute due to Covid 19.

This new service has been established to try to support families and patients during this time and your story just lets us see how the important the service has been to you.

I have personally shared this story with all the members of the virtual Visiting Team. They will be delighted with this feedback.
