About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had a fall down my stairs and my ankle began to swell immediately. I attended the minor injury unit at the emergency department and I was seen to very quickly. I was assessed and had an X-ray which confirmed no break. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, kind and approachable and although I was there for a total of 1 hour I felt very comfortable.

I was delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience when attending the Minor Injuries Unit, at University Hospital Wishaw, following an accident at home. This is the standard of care that our staff strive to achieve for all patients and from your feedback they got it right!
