"A worthwhile programme"

About: Promoting Well Being / Diabetes Prevention team

(as the patient),

This was a worthwhile Programme.

Anne-Marie was great. She presented the course in an interesting and engaging way. What I liked was how she motivated and encouraged us to be more responsible for our health on a daily basis.

The technology worked well and saved a lot of travel. I missed a couple of sessions and it would have been good to watch a recording.

Nowadays we get so little time with a GP, this type of course helps bridge that gap. By giving friendly advice in a non threatening manner, truly motivates us to maximise more healthy habits.

I will have the information to maintain and improve my health in the long term. We can keep a record of our results and see if the weight loss has been worth it!

I was to get my bloods checked in November 2021, but I presume all this may be cancelled due to more pressing concerns.

Very many thanks to all who made this Programme possible.

Good Morning

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the Diabetes Prevention Programme in the Southern Health and Social Services Trust. I am delighted that the programme has provided you with the information and tools needed to make changes to your lifestyle and reduce his risk of developing type 2 diabetes. I have passed your feedback on to the coach in question and the wider Diabetes prevention team and they are delighted with your feedback.

Kind regards

Malachy Nixon
