"Excellent treatment at the Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit (SACU)"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Ambulatory Care

(as the patient),

I had to attend the SACU at short notice, due to ongoing health issues.  From the moment I entered the Unit I was treated with respect and re-assurance  from the staff.

I was there for almost 6 hours and during this period the staff were rushed off their feet and never seemed to get a break.  Yet, despite Doctors being called to an emergency in A & E, the staff still managed to come in to the ward and keep me updated, and at the same time apologising for the delay.

A big thank you to all staff on duty that day - you are all an asset to the already struggling NHS.

Dear Holiday12

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience in Surgical Ambulatory Care Unit at University Hospital Wishaw. I am pleased to hear that you were treated with respect and reassurance and that the staff kept you informed of what was happening. I appreciate your understanding of having to wait due to an emergency situation which took staff away from the unit.

I will be delighted to pass on your lovely feedback to the staff in the unit. I hope that you are now recovering well at home.
