"Rheumatology support on the telephone"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Rheumatology

(as a service user),

I had phoned Rheumatology to explain why I had missed a telephone appointment and to ask for advice. The secretary or clerical staff I spoke to was so kind and helpful, it really did make a huge difference to how stressed I was feeling. When I spoke to Diane, the Rheumatology Nurse, she couldn't have been more caring and informative and helpful, even recommending ways to manage my stress. She has no idea how much she helped me that day. A huge Thank You to them both.

Dear Service user I am responding as Divisional Nurse for Cancer and Specialist Services which incorporates Rheumatology. It was so heart-warming to read your story about the service within Rheumatology and how the team made you feel less stressed. They are an amazing team and it is so wonderful to get compliments which help with boosting morale.

They go above and beyond day in and day out to provide a compassionate service to patients and I wanted to thankyou for taking the time to write this story it is very much appreciated.
