"My experience at 1 South"

Overall I am very satisfied with my care since being admitted to 1 South. I have been in for 3 weeks receiving treatment for hepatitis. The nurses here are great and the doctors are good too. You really notice a difference in the hospital at the weekend it is so much quieter. A good thing here is that the staff always keep you up to date about what tests need to happen or what treatment they’re going to do and when you’ll be getting home. Its good the Doctors come round every morning during the week to review you and talk to you. The cleaning of the ward is great too. The food is okay. In terms of COVID I feel safe because the nurses test us every day in here and this provides us all with a lot of reassurance.
