I attended the Dermatology Clinic yesterday on a 2 week referral.
The receptionist at Reception A was very welcoming and gave clear instructions. Her kindness at a time when I was feeling anxious was much appreciated. She is a credit to the department.
Dr Dilworth was also very kind and very thorough with the examination and procedure. At a time when many of us feel awkward about putting the NHS under unnecessary pressure, she reassured me that we should continue to seek medical advice if we notice changes in moles.
My only suggestion would be to have someone manning the main entrance. There was a desk set up, so perhaps it was a blip, but the hospital is a bit of a maze when you don’t know your way around. Thankfully a kind member of the public pointed myself and an elderly gentleman in the right direction.
